Recently i faced a lot of problems on my health. Started from heart beats fast, insomnia, then stomach (胃）bloated, constipation, irregular breathing...

I really don't know where it goes wrong. I saw normal gp and chinese sensei. All said i didn't have any problem. It was because i am stressful. I believed when i started to have these problems was really because i felt stressful as i just changed job and sometimes this job will really make people feel tense. However, i think nowadays, after ~3 months, i become better already. However, i still always feel breatheless, stomach not feeling well and the worst is constipation. It makes me feel very uncomfortable...

I am very worried about my health. I think i am weak like an old aunty... I intend to see specialist. But, i have so many problems. Which specialist should i see??? Aiyo... I really headache...

I really hope that i can be healthy... When you are healthy, you just can work and enjoy life...

Completed 1 year course. Results...Hmmm... still ok lah... However, really don know why i choose to study and study this course... Very tough...

Changed job again. Not working in HP and not in engineering line... Recently, there is some restructuring in my work. I hope no matter how and wat the final decision is, hope it will be like the lot that i drew... Everything is fine...

Saw this draft in my blog... Decided to continue what i want to write previously... Because i want to remember all these...

This was written on 26/4/2008 (one day after my last day in HP)...

Long time never update my blog liao. However, i told myself that i MUST write down my feelings. I don't want to forget any of this and all the kind people that i had met...

Yesterday (25/4/2008) will sure be one of the most memorable days in my life. Starting from morning till night, whenever i thought of, then i cried. Why do i become so sentimental now??? Old liao?? Haha...

The feeling towards this company is very strong. The people there are very nice. I still can remember the time when i told my dearest groupmates that i wanted to leave. My partner cried. I cried. My 2 brothers felt sad. My boss felt shocked... My boss took a lot of time to talk to me, to understand what my concern is. He offered me options, recommended me to other department as i said i want to do more operational stuff. He shared with me a lot of things...

That time was really a "tough" time for me. I like the working environment and people there. The only thing that i hope to change is the nature of work. I have the opportunity to change to other field where i think i will like more. But, i can't bear to leave people that treat me very well and that's y it really take me a lot of time to think of what i want to do...

However, i had made the decision to leave and to explore other job nature. I really don't know how it will be. But, one thing i can be sure is that it is very hard to find people and friends like them. Those that can be very click...

Still remember all the things that was happened...

When i reached office, lots of people came towards me and gave me their blessings towards my decision. I felt very touch... During the 11am daily ops meeting, my boss announced that it was my last day in HP and he blessed me all the best. All along i thought my boss didn't like me. However, it was not what i think. He praised me and was quite satisfied with my performance. I was surprised... Anyway, the time when my boss started his speech, my tears automatically dropped. I felt very touch... And i felt very paisei as well because i was the focus on that day. I was shy mah... And, they asked me to talk something after my boss passed me the pledge... I even more paisei as i didn't know wat to say... And, i was crying...:( Then i took photos with those bosses lo... Eyes were swollen... So ugly...

After that, my partner passed me the gift that they gave me together with a card. I didn't intend to read the card in the office because i knew that i sure will cry but they asked me read. While reading, tears dropped again... It was so automatic until i couldn't control... I really really wanted to thank all my colleagues and friends for their guidance and help in my 1 year stay there... Actually i was very 幸福 when i was there because i knew many kind and helpful people... I will definately miss them especially my MOS Photo kakis... My 2 god-brothers, my senior and my partner... I wish them all the best also...:)

Very fast, 5.30pm already. I really had to go... I sent out my farewell email then i left. My senior talked to me. I started to cry... My boss wished me again.... My partner didn't send me out because she was crying also... My 2 brothers accompanied me to leave... Finally and really, i left... And, this became a history in my life... But, it will sure be a memorable one...

I believe 天下无不散之宴席... As long as we have the intention to keep in touch, we still can be together... And, i sure will keep in touch with them because they are REALLY NICE...

Really really long time never update my blog. Busy + lazy = No update.

Just hope to write something at the end of Year 2007. Really time flies. Going to Year 2008 and i am getting older and older.

Few big things happened in Year 2007:
1) Changed job
2) Changed partner
3) Started master course

So far, everything still looks good although still feel stressed in my work sometimes.

I am very happy now because tml is Singapore National Day and it is a public holiday. Will be taking time off on Friday. So, will be going home till Sunday. Yeah... Really look forward to this "long" holiday. Got few things i plan to do in this holiday. Go to do facial and to dye my hair. I want to dye dark red colour. REally feel like changing my image. Hope that after i dye my hair to red colour, everything will be very smooth and 红运当头. Superstitious?? A bit lo....

Very busy at work. Many ongoing projects for my process and my tools. At times, i feel very lost as i don't know where and how to start. I always feel that i am not capable and i don know how to manage my time. Always like don't have enough time to finish my work. Very inefficient. I see my partner and my other colleague. I feel that they are very good and capable. Really wish that i will be like them. Confidence and capable. I am really lack of confidence. I always scare that my process will have issue and don't trust myself and my judgement. Everything scare. Very useless. I know i must be STRONG and BRAVE. If not, it is really difficult to survive... Haiz...

Frankly speaking, i have learnt a lot after i joined my new company. I need to perform qualification, do a lot of plannings, need to buy machine, need to call meeting and a lot of new attempts. I know that these experiences will be very useful for my career. That's why no matter how hard and how stress it is, i MUST be STRONG and BRAVE. This is what i always remind myself....

My master course will be started in next week. Really scare that i cannot cope. However, i will still try my best because i know this is a good chance to upgrade myself. To make myself have more market value. Hence, i must GANBATTE...

NOW, i really need a lot of blessings in my Work and Study... Pray pray...

Have been long time I never write something in my blog. Really don’t have much mood to write. Everyday work, work and work. Started to get use to the job in the new company. However, once you started to get use to it, the workload becomes heavier and heavier. Haiz....

Today heard something bad about me. Mood was affected. However, I know that I am not that kind of person. And, I know that I am not making use of anybody. Everything is 你情我愿. No right or wrong. So, I will always remind myself and tell myself that don’t let this kind of thing affect my mood. I already have many things need to do. I believe that sooner or later everything will be cleared, will be understood...

NOW, I just want to concentrate on my WORK (try to learn as much as possible) and my MASTER course which will start in August. Too many things ongoing…

Today my mood is ok liao. Really thanks to those who msg/msn me to encourage me/ cheer me up. Suddenly feel that i am still lucky leh as i have a grp of good friends. Hee...

Actually i feel that maybe i stay at comfort zone for too long liao. That's y cannot take stress and will easily feel down when facing problem/difficulty. I must always remind myself to be strong and think positively. If not, it is really hard for me to move on. Still have long long time to go leh.. So, must be STRONG... :)

I am feeling rather down now. Why?? Because of my work lo....

One of my experiment lots Etest result was out. The yield is bad for all the wafers. I felt very sad and very sian when i saw the results. I dont know whether my experiment got prob or wat. However, i knew that my experiment was too complicated and too many manual handling. Actually can guess that the yield won't be that good. I was quite suay that i carried out this experiment in this period. My fab encountered many issue. Last week, we encountered N2 supply shortage. Many lots were held at the safe zone. Of course, my lots were parked for about 1 day. And, these few days, we are facing other defectivity issue (which will cause low yield) from other downstream process. Suspected the low yield of my lot was due to the issue also. But, not very sure. I really hope it is. If not, i really don't konw how to explain the low yield. Tml, another 2 lots results will be come out. I have feeling that the yield won't be good also. Haiz....

And, for this project, i have to go for a process change presentation. Many procedure needs to follow but i dont know how. My senior supposed to guide me/ work with me. However, she has personal issue and will on leave for some time. And, it has a very tight timeline. I really don't know how. Next week, my partner will be on leave. Only will leave me alone. I feel stressed. I don't think i have the ability to handle everything. I think i will be very cham in these few weeks. Next week is my birthday liao. Actually should be happy. But, don't think i will be happy leh... Really dont dare to imagine the situation.

Sometimes, i will think that is it a right choice for me to leave STM. A comfort zone. No stress, not much responsibility, high increment... This year is good for ppl who born in Monkey year to change job. However, seems like it is not applied to me. Really very low morale...

So fast, another week gone...

Tml will be my important day in HP. Why?? Because tml my experiments will be carried out. This is the first project/ experiment which is totally in charge by me. I plan to conduct 2 experiments concurently. That's y make the experiment very complicated. I feel very stressful as i tagged 3 lots for the experiments. Used about USD 18K just for the lots itself. I am very scared that my experiments don't work or the results are bad. Haiz...

Actually, i have faced many obstacles from the day that i started to plan for this project. Initially i was unable to have lots because they have quota for those non-shippable lots. Need to push other engrs to release/ terminate their non-ship lots before i can have my lots. Then, i encountered prod loading prob. They din start my lots as they have planned to start other product lots. Finally, settled the issue. Thought everything will be smooth. But, haiz.. my plan all will be delayed as one of my lots confirm cannot reach tonight. The earliest time that it can be reached at my requested operation will be tml 11am liao. So, all my experiments have to be delayed. Actually, no matter how good your plan is, definately will have different types of interuptions. NOW, my only only wish is that the experiment results are good. If not, i sure will be very sian and feel very demoralise liao...

Really hope everything will be 顺顺利利. Really hope to have some achievements in my 2 months there. Pray pray pray...

Team Building

Finally, the team building event (on 040507) had over. Now, i am looking forward to another team building which will be organised by another newcomer. Hee...

Actually it was really not easy to be an organiser. Many factors need to be considered, like budget, activity & food that cater for everyone, the transport arrangment, etc. Of course, budget is the main factor. There are Malays in my gp. Hence, i was very headache for the food arrangement part. Luckily they are not those "strict" Malays. So, as approved by my boss, we went to Merchant Court for lunch although it is not a halal-certified restaurant. The lunch buffet @ Merchant Court is quite ok. Normal international lunch buffet. The price is $26.90 +++ and there is promotion for credit cards payment. In order to have more money for the activity, we have to fully utilise the credit card promotion. Hence, we separated into 2 tables. So, we can get 3 free buffet instead of 2. I felt that my boss felt that i was too 小家子气 as it was a bit ma fan to have 2 bills. But, my senior said i was good to think about that and she said my boss would feel that too as i concerned about the budget mah... Hopefully lo... One of the bill was paid by me as i got HSBC credit card. And, i had get my money back. The system there is really efficient. So fast.... :)

After the lunch, we went to PitStop Cafe @ Boat Quay (introduced by another colleague) for board games. It was quite a nice place but it is a bit small. It is co-owned by four partners who are undergraduates from NUS. They provide food & drink + board gaming. If you go in a big gp, can try to bargain for a better package. You can choose to have exclusive venue if you are willing to pay more. The boss introduced us to play a game called "Cranium" because it can be played in big gp. The game is actually a "whole-brain" game. It's a party game that borrows from a host of other popular party games of recent times. Players have to successfully complete activities in each of four sections to win:
In
- Creative Cat : A player must clue a word to his or her teammates by drawing it, sculpting it in clay, or drawing it with his or her eyes closed.
- Data Head : A variety of trivia questions.
- Word Worm : Players unscramble words, spell challenging words, guess definitions, identify words with letters left out, or spell words backwords.
- Star Performer : players must whistle a song, impersonate a celebrity, or act out a clue.

We had fun while playing this. My boss's team won the game. He was very on and really can play. Really doesn't look like a boss when he is playing. I liked the game too but because it is all in english (many words don't know or don't understand, some are really chim, even if my colleaugues also don't know), so most of the time i just kept quiet. Haha... I am thinking if this game has chinese version, then it will be great. I gave suggestion to the PitStop Cafe's boss regarding to have some chinese games so that they can cater for more types of ppl mah...

Anyway, in conclusion, it was quite a good place to go with frens...

6 weeks @ HP

Already 6 weeks i was in HP. So far, everything is still ok. Started to be busy as started to have projects. A big experiment that i am fully involved in will be performed on 21/5/07. Really hope that everything will be very smooth and the experiment will be successful....

Still not very familiar with the Maintenance and Operators. Maybe because we don't need to always go inside fab unless there is any issue. But, at this moment, even if there is issue, they also won't contact me as still no official passdown from my senior to me. Got good or bad. Good is i can have more peaceful life as don't need to standby for call. Bad is i can't really know/handle the issue and won't be close with those Maintenance/ Operators. But, this kind of things take time one... So, slowly slowly ba...

Labour day + 1 month's Anniversary...

Time flies. I have been working in my new company for 1 month and i had get my first month salary. So pathetic. The pay is little after CPF deduction. I know that i cannot compare my current pay with STM pay because I don't have any allowance or OT pay and now i am working in normal shift. However, sure will have a bit of unbalance. Really needs some time to get use to all the changes, like pay cut, work 5 days, long distance travelling, etc... Hmm...

But, frankly speaking, although i have been working for 1 month, the day that i really worked was only about 16 days because i always had activity/training on one of the day in these few weeks. But, that was only my 1st month and it can be considered as the honeymoon month. Think start from May, i won't have this kind of luxury liao. Already started to have projects and need to handle issue. :(

So far, i am still ok with the job there. I like the working environment because it is really flexible. The colleagues there are quite nice also. Started to be more familiar with them after i shifted my desk. Now, i am sitting beside my partner. We are our direct back-up. So, i feel that it is good to sit nearby so that we can have more interactions. Anything happen, we can discuss immediately. She is a nice, cute and young lady. Friendly and helpful. So far, we work quite well with each other. I have my gang of eating kaki liao. We will go to have lunch together. Quite fun... However, i really have to manage my time well because we always have many meetings/discussions in a day. The time that we can really sit down to do our work is not a lot. So, really must manage the time well. If not, everything will be in a mess. I MUST always remind myself on that. If not, when everything starts to pile up, then really very jialat liao...

This week will be my another honeymoon week. I only need to work 3.5 days. Tomorrow is public holiday and this coming Friday, will be the team building day. Only need to work half a day. So happy...

For the team building, finally have a conclusion. Will go to Merchant Court for lunch then go to PitStop Cafe for board games + relax. I know all my colleagues are looking forward to this team building event as they hope to relax and enjoy after many months' of stressed and busy work. I hope we all can enjoy also and hope that from this event, i can be more more familiar with them and our relationship will be closer. Hope everyone will have a lot of fun on that day...

Really must Ganbatte, MUST...

So fast, this week was my 3rd week at my new workplace liao. I started to feel the stress. I have many things need to do. A lot of E-learning courses i need to complete, have to gradually start to take care of the processes that i am going to own, have to start thinking of the projects to improve the process robustness/ yield. Actually i roughly know what i should do but i don't know how to start and where to start from because a lot of things i still don't know. And, i feel that i am not capable and i always have no idea. Stupid. Haiz...

I really MUST work hard and study hard and learn hard. Really hope that i won't make my boss disappointed and regret of hiring me. Hahaha... Really must GANBATTE... Yes, from next week onwards, must WORK HARD!!!

Another thing, the process team building session date was already fixed. And, of course, me and my philipino colleague were selected to be the organiser (as we are newcomers). Actually already have some options of the activity.

Company Celebration Party = Team Building

Just back home. Today reached home quite early as today was my company celebration party (or team-building) at west coast park. The party ended at about 5pm. Came home directly after the party loh...

Can you imagine that Managers and operators play together?? This really happened in my company. Today party involved all levels of ppl, from manager level to operator level, even my manager's manager also played with us. Everyone like really 没大没小. Operators dared to make fun of production manager. Everyone really had fun and enjoyed the games. Actually it is really good to have this kind of activity. It provides the opportunity for everyone to know more about the company members. Feel that this kind of activity just can call "Team-building" and not like what we had attended in STM. Whole team includes everyone in the company mah... However, think this is not so possible to apply in STM lah as STM is really too big, too many ppl...

Actually, i am quite lucky that i joined the company at this time. This activity really gave me the chance to know more about my colleagues and to interact more with them...

Heard that will have process team-building session whenever there are newcomers. And, those new staff have to plan for the activity and the place to go. Haiz... i sure have to involve loh... Any suggestions??? Feel free to tell me. I am really poor in organizing event leh...

Insomnia...

This morning finally made the decision of seeing Chinese Physician for my long term insomnia prob. After about 1 year of my shift work, i started to have hard time to sleep. The situation becomes worse and worse. I thought after i changed to normal shift job. I will recover and can have sound sleep everyday. But, the situation didn't turn well. So, decided to go to see Chinese Physician.

The Chinese Physician said that my heart is very weak and my 气 is very 虚. Need to take time to 调理 back my body. She gave me 1 week chinese medicine to eat first and will review the situation after one week.

Really hope that i can get rid of this insomnia prob asap. I really hate of the feeling of not enough sleep. Everyday will feel tired and difficult to concentrate. My eyes will feel tired because of this and will have dark ring also. Every time when i go to temple, i always will pray that i can have sound sleep... Haiz...

Working shift is good to earn money but it really will deteriorate our health. At least this applies to me...

Finally took my photo album. From photo-taking till having the album, it took about 2 months. Spent quite a lot of money in this because I additionally bought 25 pieces of photos (samples). Those photos were not touched-up and were not placed inside the album. Can say that those photos were those rejected one. At first, don’t intend to buy so much. Don’t want to waste so much money on it and actually those photos are quite similar just that the pose has slight different, like hand puts at different place, eyes see different direction, etc. But, after seeing the photos, feel that it will be once in my life time and if I don take the photos, it will be thrown also. Wasted mah… So, I spent extra RM200 to buy those samples lo… Thinking of 岁月不饶人, just for the sake of memory lo... Time won't go back one mah...

Finally finished watching the 偶像剧 <花样少年少女>. It is quite a funny show. However, there is no ending for the show because it is very obvious that they will have Part 2. In the last episode, there is a sentence in the last scene saying that “Our story has just begun…”

From the show, feel that the main actor 吴尊, the one who acted 左以泉, is very 帅. His figure is very good. His 五官 is very 好看. Heard that he was voted as the number 1 花样男子 in one of the elections in Malaysia’s Newspaper. Maybe now the show is very famous. That’s why he got No 1. Personally feel that he is 实至名归 lah, he is really good looking… Actually we (SY and i) had discussed this before. We felt that 仔仔 (one of the members in F4）also suits the name of 花样男子. He looks like those 主角 in the comic mah. Both of them are shy shy type. But, 仔仔 is more on weak side. He gives ppl weak impression because he is tall and thin. As for吴尊, he doesn’t look weak because he has muscle mah. He got trained himself. But, he is not fat. Haha…

Since now my new “idol” is 吴尊, of course have to know more about him lo. Hee… Found some info regarding him. Wah… he was from Brunei and he studied in Australia before. He got a Degree in Business Administration leh… Hmm… not bad, not bad…hahaha…

First Week at Work ...

So fast, started my new job for 1 week already. Actually should say only 4 days because today is Good Friday, PH mah. It was really a honeymoon week to me. Didn’t do many things. Tidied my table, downloaded/printed documents to read, went meeting with colleague and did some essential courses… To me, everything is really still very fresh.

My boss is quite a nice guy. He looks very young. I guess at most 35 years old. But, I think he is younger than that. He looks like senior engr rather than boss. Heard that he was just promoted from principal engr to boss last year. Quite a capable person. As for collegues, so far so good. However, it really takes time to build up the relationship with them. Sianz… Still miss my ex-colleagues leh… hahah… The working environment there is quite good. Although official working hours is from 8.30am to 5.30pm, most of the people reach office at 9 plus as we don’t need to clock in/out. It is ok to go off earlier provided you have finished your job. It is very flexible. The cafeteria there is much much better than my STM. It is a food court rather than a canteen. I haven’t tried the food there yet but think not too bad, from the appearance. Haha… But, I don like the toilet. Old and sometimes it is smelly. Still like STM level 6 toilet. :)

The HR system there is all paperless. Everything is web-based one. Leave application, any claims, even pay slip, also use internet. It is very convenient. For courses, think most of the courses are web-based one also. Those e-learning courses. You can arrange your time to take. Very flexible loh… These were what I observed in the first week there. Seems like pros more than cons. Hahah… subsequently maybe I will find out more cons… Hopefully I won’t. :)

Next week and the week after next, I only need to work 4 days also. Hee… Next Tue is company outing day. It is sort of like team-building event. Everyone will join and it is on our working day. So, must join. The week after next I will attend a seminar at Orchard. It is a one-day seminar. So, don’t need to work also. Heehee… However, think from next week onwards, I have to start doing some things liao. So, maybe will start to have stress as too many things still don’t know. Really have to study hard and hope that I can catch up ASAP...

Yesterday just got my badge. Very happy. Finally can become the official member of my new company and don’t need to exchange Temp badge every morning.

First Day at Work...

Today was my first dat at work at my new company. Purposely wore red colour inner wear for auspiciouness. Crazy,right? Haha... Hope that everything is smooth smooth mah...

Woke up at around 6.45am. Left home at about 7.20am. I was very 假利害. Wore a new shoes to work. The stupid shoes made one of my toe's skin peeled off. I realised the pain when i was inside the train. I was still thinking how i could tahan till evening. No choice, i asked a gal inside the train for plaster. Luckily she had. Hee.. If not, i think i can't even go to the office. Heng heng...

Knew a guy during the HR on-board orientation. We are under the same boss but we will be doing different thing. He is a Philipino. He is quite a nice guy. We chit-chatted a lot during lunch time because when we finished the HR orientation, it was already 12pm. Hence, both of us went to have lunch together before going to office. The system in my new company is quite advanced. All are web-based one. Leave application, claim, pay slip, etc. We can do it online. Very convenient lo...

Afternoon, finally went to office. My boss introduced me to my colleagues and showed me my table. Yeah... I have my own table,own computer and own printer. But, the computer is a bit slow and the LCD monitor is 15" one. My colleague told me that actually the monitor on that table previously was 17" one. After the previous staff left, somebody took the 17" monitor and changed a 15" monitor. Anyway, to me, big or small is not an issue lah... Another thing is that i can surf net. I can use MSN. But, don't think will use very often as my seat is not at the corner. It is not good to let ppl see i am playing MSN during work mah... So far, the colleagues there are quite nice lo. But, can see that they are busy because they are short-handed. Really hope that i can knock off on time leh as i won't have any OT allowance mah...

But, just first day at work. I started to have stress liao. There are many many many things i have to read up/ catch up and my boss has already given me a task. First day only leh, so fast... :( Don't care lah, 即来之，则安之. I plan to give myself 2 weeks to familialise the system and the operations there first before start doing anything.

There will have many many turning points in everyone's life. Whether it turns to good or bad direction, it depends on luck and fate.

To me, tml will be my another 转捩点. Will be going to a new company to work. Will need to start adapting the new environment, start knowing new colleagues/making new friends, start everything all over again. Really hope that everything will be 顺顺利利. Really hope that i can work happily in my new company just like what i did in my ex-company.

Current feeling: A bit 战战兢兢. A bit scared. A bit worry. A bit nervous.

Think tonight sure cannot sleep...

Just checked my account. My "ex-company" really didn't credit money to me. My pay is really delayed. Actually, i knew that it is the company practice that the last month pay will be delayed because payroll needs time to calculate all the $$. However, still cannot accept the fact that the figure of my account become smaller and smaller. Haiz... :(

Really used a lot of money in these few months. CNY, my photo album, frens' wedding, the farewell chalet, the Thailand trip plus a lot of unknown usages. Hmm... must start to save in next month. Must control myself from buying unnecessary things. Must must must...

Hope that my "ex-company" will credit money into my account ASAP... Pray, pray, pray... :)

Finally, it rains...

Now, my house here (my hometown) is raining heavily. Finally, it rains. Recently it was very very hot. Heard that almost everyday it rained in Sg. However, here, it was very hot. Finally, a bit cooling liao... :)

Just now went to watch “Just Follow Law” at the newly opened cinema (about 1 month plus) at my hometown here. It is located at the 5th floor of the newly opened shopping mall (Kluang Parade). The cinema is not bad. It is like Sg type cinema. There are few mini cinemas inside. The movies are quite updated also. The seat is quite spacious. Considered quite a good cinema in this small town. Most importantly, it is CHEAP. Just RM8 per person. Really hope that people will treasure this cinema and maintain the cinema. There were few cinemas at my hometown last time. However, all were closed down because there were too many pirated VCDs here. Nobody was willing to pay for watching movie and the management of the cinema didn't really maintain the cinema.

Actually I wanted to watch this movie “Just Follow Law” when it was shown in Sg. However, due to many unknown reasons, I didn't watch. Finally, I watched the movie today. I like the movie. Although it is a bit 无厘头 (both of them exchange souls), it shows a lot of meanings. Like in the office, upper management will make all the decisions and the subordinates have to follow the instruction. Anything goes wrong, the fault will be pointed to the lower level people. In the office, there are always a lot of backstabbing, arrowing, etc. It really reflects the situation in current society. Besides, the story at the latter part (after they exchanged their bodies) was very funny and some parts were very touching. Fann Wong and Gurmit Singh acted very naturally especially Fann. She really acted like she was a “man”. All the 小动作 and the way she talked were very natural. She is really good in acting and she is quite pretty inside the movie. Hmm... I prefer her having long hair rather than short hair. Long hair is more suitable to her...

But, the movie didn't really tell us whether they got change back their bodies. It had a last scene showing that they became husband and wife. However, didn't say whether they were back to normal. Maybe it was up to us to decide??!!! Or maybe I am too stupid to understand the last scene??

Just back from Bangkok. i LOST the battle. I am sick now... :( Sore troat, running nose, ear blocked. I think i am too heaty liao...

Why am i sick??
1) Ate too much prawn cracker
--> Before we went to Bangkok, my mum bought a package of prawn cracker. Actually, i didn't eat this kind of heaty food long time ago. Since my mum already bought, then i ate lo.
2) Ate too much spicy food
--> Most of the food in Bangkok is spicy one. Even just a simple fried vege, they will put chili also.
3) Not enough sleep
4) Too hot and drank not enough water

Luckily now i am at home. My mum can take care of me. Can become princess again. Hee... Must recover ASAP. Next week (April) will have a new start mah... :)

A Wonderful Ending...

Last Day in STM (200307)

Finally, my last day of service in STM came. Had weird feeling when going to work. Didn’t know what would happen mah…First time…

It was a busy last day because there were some issues in the line and one of my juniors went for training. Hence, I had to 重出江湖 lo… Finished doing all my tasks in late afternoon. Went to return my jumpsuit, booties and locker key. Went to find boss to sign my exit form. Didn’t really go around to say goodbye to everyone. Feel very funny if I do so. Weird… Sent out my farewell email at around 7pm. Then, left STM. Went to meet Ben and Hintha for dinner.

Nothing special happened…

Frances passed the gift that they (Operators, EES and some G2 engrs – total 30 ppl) bought for me. It is a number “7” diamond pendant from Lee Hwa Jewelry. A very beautiful pendant. I like it. Thanks thanks… Lucky 7… Hope that it will really bring me a lot of lucks ba… :)

Thanks to everyone that have been helping me in my 3 years and 4 months stay in STM. If don’t have you all, I think my life in STM will not be so memorable and fun. Will never forget you all…

Chalet at Pasir Ris (210307)

Booked a chalet at Costa Sand (Pasir Ris). Room: M06. 6 again... Hee... At first, just thought of having a gathering with my operators. A farewell for me. In the end, it became like my birthday party. I became the organizer, in charge of ordering food, booking of the chalet, giving instruction. Haha…

We met at 12pm at Pasir Ris MRT. After having our lunch, we went to buy some of the BBQ stuff like sausages, sweet potato, sweet corn, fruits, paper plate, fork, etc. Then, we headed to the chalet. After checked in, all guys went to play football while all girls including ZF’s daughter planned to go Wild Wild Wet. However, in the end, we didn’t go to Wild Wild Wet because it was a bit late after we settled everything. We went back to the chalet and gathered with those guys. Some of them went cycling, some of them went blading. I didn’t play anything as I was busy in contacting the food caterer and busy with some other stuff.

The BBQ started at about 6 plus. However, 天不作美. It started raining very heavily. A bit sianz, rain would spoil the BBQ mood one mah… Luckily we all were still on and the rain stopped after a while. Quite a lot of people coming to the BBQ. Think it had about 30 people in total. I was very paisei because I think the food was not enough. I guess everyone only had 50% full, or maybe only 30%???!!!

I was the 主角 of the BBQ. Served food to them and took photos with everyone. Like superstar like that…haha. The BBQ became like my birthday party as I received few gifts from colleagues.

Here, I would like to express my gratitude towards everyone who attended the BBQ. Thanks to those 幕后工作人员 (those who always BBQed food to us). You all were the most 辛苦 one. Think didn’t eat a lot also. Thanks for the contribution… Thanks to those who purposely came after work/ who purposely skipped lesson to attend the BBQ. Thanks to everyone. You all really “give face”. Really very touched by what everyone has done to me.

Actually, I feel that I am quite 幸福. My 3 years and 4 months stay in STM is really a fruitful one. Besides earning money, I had earned the friendship from all of you. I will always remember the time that we spent together. Will always MISS you all….

Farewell Dinner ...

Yesterday night (160307) went to the famous chili crab restaurant at Blk 232 AMK to have dinner with my Wets colleagues. Really thanks to Helen and Lailee for organizing this farewell dinner for me. Thanks to my good EES Kwek and Leow to spare some time for attending the dinner because they are always busy with their family stuff mah. Big thank to my good shift colleague + 知己??!!, TCS for attending the dinner also. He was the only shift engr who attended the dinner. Good good, really give face. Haha… I have promised him that next time when during his turn, I sure will attend provided they invite me lah… haha… Thanks to my ex-G2 partner, Ridley also… Also want to thank those who have intention to come (like SQ, Wilson, Adrian) but cannot come due to other appointment/issue...

It was really a sumptuous dinner. We ordered 4 crabs with 3 different types of cooking method, vege, Rojak chicken, 姜葱deer meet. The crabs were very big and very nice. We started eating at around 9pm and left at about 10.15pm.

It was quite an expensive dinner. I was really paisei to let them waste so much money to treat me although I asked Helen to let me share. Don’t think they will let me share lah. Anyway, really very happy and very thankful to them. They are really good colleagues. I feel very lucky to have such a group of good colleagues in my first job. Will remember them forever… And, hope that I can have good luck again in my new job bah… Make a wish... :)

KTV Session Again...

Long time didn’t go to KTV already, more than 1 month liao. 歌瘾发作, jio my G2 singing kaki to the 10 dollars KTV at Chinatown on Thursday. Think this would most probably be my last KTV session during weekday. After I start my new job, I will be like those 昭九晚五 working adult. Only can go shopping, go KTV, go travel during public holidays or weekends liao… :(

Really enjoyed the KTV session with my G2 singing kaki. Iven (my idol) really can sing very very well. Any song (no matter Chinese, Cantonese, no matter who the singer is), he also can sing. He will always keep himself updated for the new songs. His voice is good and he is very 投入 when he sings. If there was Project superstar few years ago, think he would win leh… Too bad, now a bit late for him to join liao. わかくない liao mah… hee hee… :p Anyway, I will still be his No.1 fans lah… Hahaha...

Joon Nee (My 亲爱的) also can sing very well. Her voice is very solid and high. She can sing 张惠妹 and 顺子's song well. So, can imagine how well she can sing liao…

Actually STM got quite a lot of people can sing very well. Really 到处都有英雄...

Tok's Wedding Dinner

Yesterday night attended my sec classmate, Ah Tok’s wedding dinner at Meritus Mandarin Hotel. I was satisfied with the food especially the Wasabi prawn. I don’t like wasabi. But, the prawn only had little wasabi taste. So, very special and very delicious. I like the dessert also. It was sea coconut with ??? (forgot what that was liao). Very 补… haha… Actually all the dishes were delicious… However, I don’t really like the arrangement of the tables. A bit tight. Maybe the ballroom was too small to accommodate about 20 tables. The couple couldn’t walk straight towards the stage during march-in because the projector was right in front of the stage and it blocked their way. They had to walk one round to go to the stage.

Now, let's talk about my classmate, Ah Tok. It was very funny when he talked a speech on the stage. He thanked many ppl and talked some mushy word to his wife. Can see that he was very gan cheong when he spoke the speech. Very mushy but yet very touching. His wife is quite pretty and she has a very deep dimple just like ah Tok. He also has a very deep dimple. Very matching… Actually we all were very shocked when he announced that he was getting married as we totally didn’t know that he got gf. Of course, had rumours regarding his marriage lo. Anyway, as long as they are happy to be together, have baby before marriage also ok one mah… Anyway, not my prob also lah…

I was arranged to sit with my sec classmates. He only invited 5 girls. The rest all were guys. A funny scenario in my sec classmates was that most of the guys were already get married while most of the girls (at least those I am closed with) are still single although some of them are with their partners for many years liao… I feel that maybe because most of them are staying together so to them, it is not a must to get married unless they want to buy house or have kids lo. Another conclusion that we made regarding my sec classmates was that most of them were together with their first love. Haha… cannot imagine all my classmates were so faithful one…haha…

A bored Friday...

Just finished eating my dinner, bread + a big bowl of red bean soup. Tried using SF’s slow cooker to cook red bean soup. This was my first time using slow cooker to cook food. Very convenient. Just put everything inside and let it cook until it boils. Don’t need to take care of the fire. It is very good for those lazy people like me… :)

Today was very hot. At first, plan to go K-Lunch. Quite some time never go KTV liao. Suddenly feel like going. However, when I woke up, it was already 12 plus. Long time never sleep until so late. Think it was because yesterday night I couldn’t sleep well. I went to bed at around 12 plus. Lying on the bed for few hours but still couldn’t sleep. Think I really fall asleep at around 3 or 4 plus. Haiz… I was very tired actually but didn't know why I couldn't sleep. Was it because of the Cappuccino that I drank in yesterday afternoon?? I also don’t know…

Today didn’t step out from my house except going to have my lunch and going for a jog. Very lazy… Finally finished watching the HK serial drama “胭脂水粉”. Watched on and off for few months liao. The story was quite ok. Implied some meaningful 人生道理 …

Will attend my Sec schoolmate’s wedding on tml night. Actually I am not very close to him. Don’t know why he will invite me. Anyway, since he invites me, then I will go lo. Treat it as a chance to gather with my sec schoolmates also. Haven’t decided what to wear. Think will wear a normal top and a skirt gua. Don’t know lah, see tml mood first…

2 New Things...

1) New Specs

Went to take my new specs. My $520 transition lenses specs. Looks a bit 土, right? Haha... But now this kind of frame is in fashion mah... Must follow the trend. :p

2) 2GB MP3 Player
Bought a 2GB MP3 player @ $69 at the IT show. It is a local brand MP3 player but it looks very similar to Apple one. The function is similar also. A bit thicker and heavier than Apple MP3 player. I had intention to buy a MP3 player quite some time already. I don't mind about the brand as long as it is cheap and durable. So, very happy that i can buy this MP3 player today. Hope that it can last longer lah...

Will start to download songs inside my new MP3 player tomorrow... Yeah... :)

LAST Night Shift...

My last 3 days night shift in STM was over. Don’t know how to express my feeling… a bit happy and a bit sad…

Happy is that I can finally become a normal person. Don’t need to work night shift and won’t grow old easily because of the abnormal working hours. Most importantly, hope that I won’t have insomnia anymore and can have very sound sleep everyday. I strongly feel the effect of not enough sleep to my health...

Sad is that I will not have the chance to enjoy the peaceful night anymore and won’t have my $50 shift allowance liao. Actually I prefer working night shift than morning shift because we will have more freedom while working at night. No bosses and no normal shifts. We are the BOSSES at night. As long as we can make sure that no issue in the line, we can do whatever we want to do. I enjoy the time of chit-chatting and gossiping with my fellow colleagues. I enjoy the time of talking nonsense with my operators. They are all very nice people and I really happy to know all of them.

My friend asked me whether I will cry on my last day. Actually I don’t know. Think won’t gua unless got someone talk something very touching to me. Hahaha… Most prob won’t lah, 天下无不散的宴席, still can keep in touch one mah… I must look forward to a better change… :)

Have 3 off days. Don’t know what to do. Going home? Going KTV? Going IT show with 乔治 and LZ? Still don’t know yet. See tml mood bah…

A Busy Week...

So fast, another work week is coming and next week will be my last night shift in my life, hopefully… :)

Never really have a good rest in this week. Had quite a lot of activities...

Thursday

Went to my D0 engr, JiaNing and Joon Nee’s house in the evening. We went to JiaNing’s house first. She stays at a private house at upper Thomson there. It was a very adventurous visit to me. Her house has 7 cats and I dislike cats. They tried to separate me from the cats. But, sometimes the cats still had the chance to come nearer to me. What did I do? Scream lo. Haha… very 没仪态... But, no choice. I really don’t like them and I am afraid of them…haha…very useless…

Before going another house, Joon Nee’s house, we went to eat 煮炒. We ate quite a lot of dishes and ate 鱼生 also. That was my first time eating 鱼生 in this year. Hope that really can 捞个风生水起 bah…

After dinner, went to my 亲爱的's house = Joon Nee’s house. I like her house. Although it is just a 3-rooms flat, it looks very cosy and comfortable. The decoration is pretty. Red and white combination makes the house looks bright and “lively”. Really have the feeling of a house (家的感觉)... We played black jack at her house. She was very very lucky. Her house really 旺 her. She won about $8. I also won a bit. Very little but better than none. :)

At first, planned to go to my Implant Engineer (PS)’s house at Kulai to eat Bak Kut Tei. However, he was not feeling well. Hence, last min cancelled the plan. We still went to JB because I need to go to see my photos. Selected 22 photos for the album and bought extra 18 photos for the sake of memory. The 22 photos will be touched-up and put into an album. Need to wait for about 1 month just can get the album. Sianz…

Frances brought us to go to eat Bak Kut Tei. Very delicious and we ate until very full. Very satisfied… :) Went to watch a movie (Turistas) at City Square Cinema. The story is about a group of young backpackers' vacation turns sour when a bus accident leaves them marooned in a remote Brazilian jungle that holds an ominous secret. The show had quite a lot of scary and disgusting scenes. But I didn’t really see what the scenes were as I used my hand to block my eyes most of the time. Haha…

Heard that Norbit is very nice. So, went to watch the movie with SY in the afternoon because I had a “buy 1 get 1 free” voucher from HSBC. It is indeed a funny movie and it is good that the story has a happy ending. I like to watch this kind of movie. No stress. Go in happily and come out happily also. Don’t understand why people like to watch those horror/ghost movies??!!! So stressful… Bought a cushion for SY as her birthday is coming. It is for her to put on her office chair. 体贴 right? Haha... Hope that she likes it...

Tomorrow my new housemate will move in. Hope that we can have a happy and peaceful stay with my new housemate ... :)

G2 Big Treat on 270207

We treat our G2 operators (both diffusion and wets) on Tuesday (270207) night to celebrate CNY. We ordered KFC and Pelican Pizza. We had pastries to eat also. Those pastries were actually for VIP. However, they just ate a bit. Hence, many pastries were left over. The canteen staff gave us all the leftover pastries. Very good... haha...

Everyone was very happy and we took many photos. Very happy to know all of them and i will remember them forever. They are really really nice... I definately will miss them...

Back to Sg. Went to make a glasses which cost $520. It is so expensive because the lenses are those transition one. My degree is very high. Just the lenses, it already cost $485. A bit heart pain. But, never mind, actually I just need to pay $100 plus as I can claim from company mah… :)

Went to the Singapore River Hongbao 2007 (春到河畔) with my uni friends at night. I went to this 春到河畔 before 2 years ago. But, that time we went in the day time. So, it was not very pretty. At first, we thought it will be very crowded as it was a Friday night. However, not many people there. We walked around and took some photos. Actually, my foot was painful because I wore the new shoes that I bought before CNY. The shoes was a bit tight for me because the size that i wanted already no stock. So, I bought a smaller one. Thought after expand, it will be better but still the same. Haiz… actually, I shouldn’t buy the shoes since it didn't fit me. Really 假利害...

Happy Birthday to everyone and me… :)

Went to Kwek’s house to 拜年. This is our annual activity. Last 2 years, we went also. However, this year they were only 3 people going to Kwek’s house. A bit 冷清. Last 2 years, we had about 6 or 7 people going. So, it was more fun. Anyway, no regret to go as I got Ang Pow from my big sister, Helen. Haha… Actually I just made fun of her, saying that I wanted to get Ang Pow as I got 拜年 to her. Then, she really gave us. So pai sei…. Haha…

Met YM at Plaza Sg at 5pm. Bought a Jeans Bermudas at Giodarno. After discount, it was only $15. Very happy… Had our dinner at Ajisen. Ate the Ton Toro Ramen. Very big bowl and quite nice. Satisfied… Then, we went to Grand Cathay to watch the Korean movie “Seducing Mr Perfect”. A very 老套 Romance show. But, the show was quite funny. The actor (Daniel Henney – one of the actors in 我叫金三顺) is very good looking but the actress looks a bit old. This was my first time watching movie at the Grand Cathay. Not bad. The seats are spacious and the air-con is not very cold. Most importantly, the ticket is cheaper than GV…

Tonight start working liao… A bit sian, like long time never work. Took half day leave tonight because a good friend of mine is leaving to overseas. Will go to send her off. A bit sad… Anyway, it is a good move. Wish her All the Best…

Can start to save money and plan a trip there liao…hahaha…

Went to my auntie's house at Yong Peng in the early morning. Kluang and Yong Peng is quite near. About 40 mins by car.

Nth much to do there. Just watched TV. In the afternoon, all my uncles and aunties reached. They came from Muar and Malacca. Suddenly, it became very noisy as they were many ppl inside the house. Everyone was busy chit-chatting and eating.

At night, bored again because only my family stayed overnight there. All my cousins they all went back to their home.

Went home after lunch. Rest a while as didn't sleep well on yesterday night.

At first thought will have a bored night. Luckily I called my friend, YP. She asked me out for drinking tea with my other secondary schoolmates. Although a bit bored also, still better than stayed at home doing nth. We went to a coffee shop near my house. Total about 10 ppl attending the small gathering. 3 of them were not from my class. They are my friends' partners. We chit-chatted and updated everyone's news. During the gathering, really feel that when you are at different age level, will have different topic. Before 25 years old, the topics are mainly job, bf/gf. At this level, all the topics are regarding marriage, buying house or car. Think few years later, the topic will be the kids liao... So scary... I am getting older and older...

The happiest day. Went to visit my secondary good friends' house. Went to SY, YP, CY and LK’s house. Went out from 11am till 6pm. A bit tired but still happy. We chitchatted and ate a lot of new year's food. Although we all are working in Sg, we seldom meet up. So, this is a good chance for us to gather and it is really once a year...

I really hope that our friendship will be forever as I know that 好友难求...

Today is 除夕. Nothing much to do at home. Eat, sleep and watch serials. I see my mum busy here and there but I never really help her and don't know what to help also. Really like a princess... haha...

Time flies. Tomorrow is the first day of Piggy year. From newspapers and magazines, knew that piggy year is good for those who were born in Monkey year. Good in career, relationship, wealth. Hope that it is true and I will have a very good Piggy year... :)

Suddenly feel that I am old. Yesterday, my brother's colleague sent him home after work. My brother asked him to call me “Sister”. I suddenly felt very funny and realized that 岁月不饶人. Last time, my brother's colleagues all were older than me. Now, haiz... his colleague has to call me “sister”. So scary...

Tomorrow will be going to Yong Peng. My auntie there moved to a new house and she asked us to go there to gather. This is the first year we go Yong Peng as normally we will go to Muar. Actually it doesn't matter where we go because I know we go anywhere also will do the same things. Eat and chit-chat with my cousins. Actually it is quite bored but this is the only time that all of us will see each other. So, every year we definitely will go to my auntie's house to gather.

Just finished my dinner. After bathe, will watch the Channel 8 New Year Celebration show. Although it is a bored show, still will watch as nth to do also... ...

Just finished packing my things. Tomorrow will go back to my hometown to celebrate CNY till next Friday. Have long holidays because i take 3 days leave. Actually still got things haven't packed yet. But, very lazy and tired. Really busy today but quite satisfied...

Went to west side to do some important thing. After finished, while waiting for bus to go MRT station, knew a girl at the bus stop. Don't know why we started to chit-chat and finally we exchanged our hp number. She called Milla. She is staying at AMK also. She went to Taiwan Embassy to ask about trip to Taiwan. She is 24 years old and currently studying part time and at the same time, giving tuition. Quite a friendly girl. She said she will add me in the MSN. But, haven't received her invitation yet...

Had lunch with my housemates at Bishan Christal Jade Kitchen as we had $30 voucher. Actually i prefer Christal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Pao outlet. But, those outlets are quite far from AMK and we are lazy to go too far. So, just ate at Bishan...
After lunch, i met WM to go shopping. Bought a red top, a 灯笼 skirt and a pair of shoes. Finally bought a red top and the shoes that i always wanted to buy. Used quite a lot of money today. Never mind lah, sometimes must pamper myself mah...:)

Today was a very busy day. A lot of things to do. All suddenly came together. The phone rang non-stop. However, we have only 2 ppl running the line as LZ was on urgent leave. Adrian's Wedding (Church + Dinner)

Yesterday morning (270107) went to Adrian's church Wedding at Bedok. Total had about 10 colleagues attending the wedding. See, we were so supportive although the wedding was started very early... :) My colleagues were very bad. They kept on laughing at Adrian's coat as the coat was a bit like magician's jacket (white colour with shiny shiny thing). However, he was not angry and still went along with the jokes. Haha.... The bride's gown was very pretty and very sweet. Pink and white colour mah, of course sweet. The bride was very pretty also. Will upload some photos when i have them.

After the church wedding, we went to Adrian's sister's house to have our lunch. The food was quite delicious and we all enjoyed the food very much. Ate until very full... :)

Wanted to thank Pris for fetching us here and there. If not, we have to come back all the way from Tampines to AMK. Very far... Promise to buy her bubble tea to thank her... hee...

~ Continue on the Wedding Dinner~

On Monday night (290107), we all (ex-wet cleans colleagues) except Mohan & those who are in overseas, attended Adrian's wedding dinner at Condrad Hotel. The hotel is quite high class and the decoration is grand. I like the design of the ballroom. There are 2 entrances. During the first march-in (don't know correct or not??), the bride and groom came in using 2 different doors. Then, they held their hand when they saw each other and walked towards the stage. The arrangement was good and special. The ballroom is quite spacious and everyone can see the stage clearly. No blocking by any pillars. It is good. I like the clothes that they wore during the 2nd march-in. The groom's coat was black in colour where the bride's gown was red. Very matching. Adrian looked very smart in the black colour coat.

Now i want to talk about my poor ex-warmate, Adrian. Actually, being a groom is really very cham because many people will ask the groom to drink wine. Luckily, Adrian was well-trained in drinking wine. After he drank a lot of "special" wine, he was still ok. His face never turned red and was still very steady. Good good...:) Don't know he will revenge next time or not. Those who participated in doing these evil things, be careful lah... Heehee...

So fast, today is my 3rd off-days liao... Tomorrow rest one more day. Sunday night have to start another 4 days night shift. January is going to finish. February is coming soon. Time flies... Getting older and older... ... ... :(

Yesterday morning, went back to office for a training. Actually the training was good for those who don't have Microelectronics background because this is the very basic knowledge in Microe. However, the trainer was not good. Personally feel that she thought she is very smart and knows a lot. My colleagues and i were late. Hence, she always purposely called us and asked us questions. Very 小气 and impatient. She would show black face while the comp was loading her slides very slow. Haiz... Actually we were supposed to go for the afternoon training as well. However, TCS said if the morning session we don't understand, afternoon session we will not understand also because it is more chim than the morning one. Hence, F and i decided not to go for the afternoon training. 三十六计，走为上计. Who will be so stupid? Go there and let her "insult" meh...

Then we went to town to meet LZ and G. Thinking of what to do for the whole afternoon. Actually really nothing much can do in Singapore. If don't want to shop, then only can go KTV or drink coffee liao. At the end, we decided to go to the Chinatown KTV to be a star. Actually really paisei as most of the time, i was the one who sang and i always 走音. So, i think they suffered a lot during that time. Haha... We took quite a lot of photos using G's camera. Hope that he won't use those to blackmail me... Haha...

The KTV session ended at around 7pm. Then we went to eat Frog Leg Porridge. I didn't eat frog leg mah. Hence, i wanted to eat sliced fish beehom. However, my smart smart juniors accidentally ordered fish head beehom for me. Haiz... luckily the soup and the beehom were oishii. So, still ok lah... Still satisfied... :)

G wanted to walk around the Chinatown to shop for some new year stuff. However, there were only few stalls open. Still don't have many things to see. Then we went home.

Very funny. G and LZ MSNed me to ask me whether i was unhappy at the time when we were about to leave as they said i looked gloomy. Did i really look unhappy at that time?? I was not aware leh... Maybe a bit tired that's why never talked a lot at that time.

Anyway, wanted to tell you all: I was not unhappy. Indeed, it was fun to go out with you all though i am the oldest one (in term of both seniority and age..haha) in the group.

Tomorrow is my ex-wet cleans warmate, Adrian's church wedding day. Think will have a lot of fun tomorrow. Look forward to it. :)

This afternoon went to AMK K-box with WM. Actually the K-lunch session is quite 划算. You can sing from 11am to 2pm. Price is $9.00 +++ (= $11.10) including 1 set of bento set and 1 drink. The staff said we can sing till 3pm if they don't need the room. We were so happy. Can sing more songs mah...:)

Tried to sing few Cantonese songs today. Actually i like Cantonese songs because i feel that Cantonese songs are nicer. However, some of the words i don't know how to say. So, a bit funny when i sang those songs. Hmm... never mind, practice makes perfect mah... Practice more then will be better... Hopefully lah...

The song that i like recently is FIR's song "天天夜夜". Very nice but the pitch is high for some portions. Standard FIR's song mah... I sang this song 3 times as WM said i sang like reading the lyrics. No tone. So, i practised and practised lo... BUT, still the same...haha...

It's ok lah. I am not aiming to become Superstar mah. So, as long as i enjoy, can liao...But, maybe my friends will suffer...haha...

Finally, 4 days day shift over. Long time never work day shift. Feel very uncomfortable because there are many people inside the office and in the line. All the bosses are there also. Everyone looks very "busy"... Actually i prefer night shift. More relax, can have more freedom and more money. But, of course, it will affect our health. 世上没有两全其美的东西 mah...

Already discussed with SY regarding our overseas training thing. Hope that everything will be smooth and we can have what we want... Hope for the besttttttt....

Very tired. Today slept till 11.30am just woke up. At first, plan to go JB. But, too lazy and the weather looks bad. Never mind, will go with LL on Sat. Hope that it won't rain on that day.

Always got many hopes. Don't know 老天爷 will feel 烦 or not??!!!

Raining continuously on today again...

On the way back to JB, saw many places (低洼地区）were flooded. Heard from the news that, the wet weather condition is expected in the next few days. Haiz, don't know whether the rain is to welcome the Korean Rain or not as he will have concert in Singpaore on 21/1/07 mah... Haha... Wu liao.. :)

Before coming back to Singapore, purposely went to City Square. Intended to sign a glamour shots package. Wandered outside the shop. Thinking of whether want to go in or not. At last, i didn't go in. Actually i already did some surveys and found that the package at one of the bridal shops in City Square is quite good. For a 8R album (22 poses), 5 styles, it cost RM599. However, they will take more photos and let you choose. And, it is for sure that you will choose more than 22 poses. So, at last maybe you need to pay for about RM700 to RM800 for an album. It is about $300 to $400. Really don't know whether it is worth to take a 专辑 for the sake of memory or not. However, like my friends said if now i don't take, next time will be my wedding album liao. No more 少女专辑 liao.. And, few more years later, when have wrinkle then really cannot take liao...Haiz, really in dilemma leh... Should i take???? :(

On the train back to AMK, saw my secondary schoolmate. Long time never see him. He is now studying PHD in NUS. He updated me some of my ex-schoolmates news. He asked me to introduce him some girls. I also asked him to introduce me some PHDs. You know what he said? He said PHD's brain is not good because they are Permanently Head Damage. Haha...

Flood again......

I am now at my hometown in Malaysia. After raining for almost 2 days, some of the places at my hometown here started to flood. The river is going to rise to the road level. If the rain still doesn't stop, another round of "big" flood will happen again. Don't know how many ppl will be affected again... Haiz...

Although i know this is 老天爷的事 and it is beyond my control, still hope that 老天爷 will 作美... Stop the rain... :)

Time flies... Today is the last day of Year 2006. Still remember last year this day, I went to a BBQ at my friend’s condominium. We talked about our wish in Year 2006. I remembered I said that I hope to change a job. However, already 1 year. I didn’t make any changes in my career. Still 原地踏步. Haiz… The only thing that has been changed is my age. Haha...

I don’t have any special wishes for Year 2007. Just hope that I can sleep well everyday and 身体健康. My family also 平平安安. The rest of the things…Just 随缘吧!! :p

Thailand Trip 241206 - 281206

I had come back from my 5 days 4 nights Thailand trip. After resting for 2 days, now I had finally recovered. Yesterday my whole body was aching. Think it was because I walked too much..:p
This was quite a fun trip because we had 8 people in total (my colleague and I + 6 PRC operators). Sometimes we had some opinions in the places that we wanted to go, but we were still able to compromise each other. And, I was considered as the “Tour Guide” for this trip. So, most of the time, they would follow my suggestion. Hee hee…

This was my first time to Bangkok. Actually I don’t really like there as the air there is dirty. The traffic there is terrible. Always jam. But the taxi fare is cheap (by meter) and the colours of the taxis are very colourful. The things there are cheap if you go to the markets. However, you must bargain, bargain and bargain. If not, you will be like kena cheated. Many fake things there. The first time I went to the market. I was very excited. After going to so many markets, I felt bored as the things are almost the same. But the things at the markets are really cheap. You can earn double or triple if you can bring some back to sell..hee…

Regarding Thai, basically they can communicate using simple English. However, some are totally cannot communicate. We only can use the “universal” language, sign language, to communicate. Sometimes really like 鸡同鸭讲. We faced some bad Thais. They tried to bluff us by telling us that the places that we wanted to go were not open and tried to divert us to go to other places so that they can earn money. We were cheated by the Tuk-tuk driver and one of the taxi driver also. The taxi driver requested us to pay for 150 Baht to go back to our hotel while actually the actual fare was only 60 Baht. Haiz… Never mind, these are experiences. “Use some money to gain experience”. This is what we always think to pacify us..haha..

We went to Pattaya also. Pattaya is not as busy as Bangkok. The most crowded place is at the beach. They are many ang moh sun-tanning there. I tried to ride motorboat with my colleague there. This was the first time I ride motorboat. It was fun. However, we dropped into the sea while we were trying to turn. I was not very scared maybe because I was not the only one inside the sea. At that moment, I just felt that why nobody come to save us and how long should we need to float inside the sea. Luckily, my another colleague’s boat was nearby and they tried to save us. Although we all were wet, the feeling was still quite good. I think I won’t forget this experience… Quite exciting…Because of this, I donated my 100 Baht sunglasses and my hair clip to the sea. :(

In Pattaya, we also went to watch the Tiffany Show (人妖歌舞表演). Actually those 人妖 are not very pretty but their figures are very good and they are very fair. However, I felt that the show was actually not very fantastic. Maybe I was too tired. That’s why I never really enjoyed the show. The stage decoration and their clothing are very grand. Can feel that they have put in effort to make the show successful. Anyway, it was just for an experience…

Bangkok, maybe I won’t go back again unless I have free ticket. However, I am still interested in going to other provinces of Thailand like Hat Yai or Chiang Mai. Heard that Hat Yai is a good place to go also..hee hee…

Tomorrow i am going to Bangkok with my colleagues. 5 days 4 nights trip. Will celebrate Christmas there. Will be going to Pattaya also. Hope that everything will be very smooth. Hope that it won't rain and won't be very hot.

Finally, rain stopped. Finally can see the sun...:)

It has been raining continuously for about 2 days. Many places in Johor were flooded. My hometown, Kluang, is one of the affected towns. Most of the main roads were blocked. The river is risen to almost the road level. Luckily, my house is at higher place. So, my house is not affected. However, i was affected by the rain. Because of the heavy rain, i cannot go anywhere. I have been staying at home for few days. Very bored...

Later i must go out to jalan jalan... But, think it will rain again...Haiz...

Now, i am at my home in Malaysia. I am on leave for 4 days. Yesterday just reached home. Nothing much to do except sleep and eat. These are the activities that i always do while i am at home. Haha..this is because i will become "Princess" while i am at home. :p However, from yesterday till now, i always have slight headache although i slept a lot. I guess it was because yesterday i was caught in the rain. Hope that my guess is correct...

Yesterday, my friend and i went to Kulai to see a fortune teller. Basically, he told us about our fortune in every year. What we should do and what we should avoid. Not sure how accurate it is but still will try to follow if it is possible. I know this is only a guidelines and our fate should control by ourselves. 宁可信其有ma.. No harm to follow if we are able to do...

I heard this sentence "The only constant is Change" from my friend. It is really really true. In this world, always got changes. Now, i am facing many changes. My job maybe will be changed. My boss maybe will be changed. My overseas training maybe will be changed. So many changes...many uncertainties...

Just heard that my company CEO has resigned and my company (one product group) is already under another organisation. The real details still don't know yet. Whether there is any retrenchment or restructuring, all are unknown also. Whether i am still going to Italy is also a question mark.

Why are there so many changes in this/next year?? At first, happily prepared to go for training for 1 year. However, the programme kept on delaying. Till now, i started to feel sian. Maybe drag too long already until i have no mood. In addition, the company is so unstable now. So many unknowns make me feel very insecured. Like 前途茫茫. I know that i cannot do anything except 顺其自然. Still hope that everything will be better.

Hope that 明天会更好... :)

宫-我的野蛮王妃

Finally finished watching the Korean show “宫-我的野蛮王妃”. It was a nice drama serial. Can understand why this show is so famous after finished watching. Although the story is a bit old (3 parties love), the overall firm was shooted very beautifully. The design of the宫 is magnificent, the actors and actresses’ clothes are very elegant.

After watching the show, have some feeling regarding love. “Love” is really fated. If you and that person are not fated to be together, no matter how he treats you, how he likes you, also cannot be together. Just like the律 and 彩景. 律 treats her very good and always be there for her. However, she only likes 信. Luckily, they are together eventually. A happy ending story.. :)

Here, 愿天下有情人终成眷属. :)

Today (281106) was my last G2 day shift in 2006. This is because next 2 weeks i will be on night shift. The following day shift i will be on long leave. After that, company will shut down for 1 week. The time when i go back to work will be on 31/12/06 night. Hence, today i told my normal shift EES that i will "see him next year". Very funny...
Time flies. Year 2006 is going to the end. 2007 is coming and i have been working for 3 years. Really cannot imagine that i am already late twenties. Haiz...

Updates on my Overseas Training

Last Tuesday (211106), i attended the briefing regarding my overseas training. The purpose of the briefing was to update us regarding the status of the Visa and to assure us that the training is still on. HR claimed that they are still planning to send us off in Jan. However, Italian side required us to give Social Contribution (maybe tax) whereby we never did before. HR need to have more time to understand more about this. Hence, the programme may have SLIGHT delay. Maybe will be delayed till Feb. For those who are going to France, their Visa already approved and they will leave on 6th Jan.
Now my only hope is that the programme won't be delayed for so long. If not, maybe i will give up the chance which i really don't hope it will be. I am not young anymore. I have wasted a lot of my time because of this opportunity. So, i really don't hope that eventually i have gained NOTHING.
Hope for the BEST!!!

Wang Meng's ROM

Yesterday (111106) was my friend, Wang Meng's ROM day. I have known her for around 3 years. Last time she was one of my operators. She is a very cheerful and pretty girl especially when she wore the wedding gown. Very feminine... Her gown was bought from china and it cost only 700 RMB. Very cheap and very nice.
It was just a very short ceremony but it was very solemn as the couple need to give their promise to the marriage. But, the promise is a bit mushy. So, it was quite funny when they read out the promise. :) After the ceremony, we went to take photos.
Here, I wish my good friend and her husband have a blissful marriage....

I made a BIG change in my hair style. Actually this wasn't what i wanted. What i wanted in the beginning was to rebond my hair as it was very curly at the shoulder there. But, the hair stylist told me that if i were to rebond, my hair won't be very straight at the shoulder there because my hair is not long enough and she suggested that I perm my hair. Actually I know that the permed hair look is now very 'IN' but i always feel that it will make people looking more matured and it is difficult to maintain (need to apply foam/cream and etc). In addition, my face is very ROUND. However, my mum kept encouraging me to try. So, i tried. Actually people said it was nice but i am not very used to my new hair style. How how how? Make it straight again??!!!

Last Sat (21/10) went to watch LeeHom's 盖世英雄 concert. It was a very good concert. He is really very talented and handsome. No wonder he has the nickname of 优质偶像. He played many different kind of instruments, like guitar, piano, drum, violin and Er-hu. He looked more handsome while he was playing violin. He can dance and rap very well also. But, i feel that the concert was a bit short. It will be more fun if he sing some other singer's song using his style. Anyway, i feel that the concert is worth to watch...

Tomorrow is LeeHom's concert. Really look forward to it. Hope that it is a worthy concert. But, i believe LeeHom won't let his fans feel disappointed. Now my only worry is that we cannot have a clear view from where we will be seated. From the map, the seat is at the side and quite far from the stage. No choice, only can afford $98 one. Never mind, just enjoy his songs.

Look forward to tomorrow high-tea buffet at Goodwood Park Hotel also. MUST eat a lot a lot. Cannot waste the money..haha...What a greedy gal..:-)

Will be going to watch Leehom's concert on 21/10. This will be the 2nd concert that i will watch in my life. The 1st concert that i had watched was JJ's concert. It was nice. His songs are all very nice. Good experience..
Believe that Leehom's one will be good also. He is very talented and handsome. Now, my only hope is that we will have a clear view from where we are sitting. Pray pray...

Don't know why recently i suddenly feel very sad of being PLUMP especially when i want to buy clothes. I tried to go swimming and jogging more frequent. However, those parts that i am fat in are very difficult to slim down, like arm and thigh. Haiz...:(
Sometimes, i really hope to go to those slimming centre to undergo treatment. I know that it is useless unless you have very strong determination. And, i know i DON'T HAVE. So, i MUST not waste the $$$.
Think i have to try to face the reality. Maybe it is fate...
Anyway, still hope that there is a day that i can slim down...:) Bless for me...:p

Last Wed, my G1/G2 colleague and i went to eat steamboat at Bugis. We ate the Yuan Yang steamboat. Totemo oishikatta desu. There were more then 80 food for us to choose and the price was reasonable. We enjoyed the food very much...Oishiiiii...

We went to partyworld KTV after dinner. It was very fun. We sang many different types of songs. Actually, they are few stars in my department. Like Li Sheng Jie, ah Du, etc. As for myself, i like to sing and i enjoy singing. This is my number 1 ECA. Haha...

I really enjoy this kind of gathering with colleague or friends. Hope that there will be more gatherings before i go to Italy because i know i confirm will miss them...:)

Just came back from Mohan's ROM ceremony. This was the first time i attended Indian's wedding. Actually by right we should wear Indian's costume. But, too bad, i don't have. I just wore normal blouse and skirt.
Really happy for both the groom and bride. They look very compatible. The groom was handsome and the bride was very pretty. Everyone was very happy especially their family memebers.
It is a fortune if you can find someone who you are really love and want to be together forever. Congratulations to the couple and wish them lots of happiness as they start off their journey together....

Long time never post anything. Actually nothing special recently. Just work + OT + work.
Today went back to work OT. At first i was supposed to cover night shift but i gave up the opportunity because i scared that i was unable to adjust my time to work on Sunday day shift. However, although i gave up this chance, another opportunity came. I was requested to go back to cover day shift as one of my colleague has training.
Actually sometimes it is good to give up something when you think it is not suitable for you. Give up doesn't mean that you got nothing. Maybe you will have another better opportunity...

Just being told that one of my operators is leaving soon. She had made the decision of not signing the contract. Actually, i roughly knew that she most probably won't continue but i was still very shocked when she told me next week is her last week.
Time really flies. I have known her for around 3 years. She is a helpful person. In the past, we always went out together. Went jogging, big walk, KTV or sometimes met for lunch. We would share our personal story, etc. Although after she has bf, we seldom meet up. We still always keep in touch via MSN.
Anyway, it is good to have a move. I know that she always got her own plans, own target. And, i am really happy for her that she has found a very good bf. I wish her ALL THE BEST in everything and be happy forever...:)
